Recent and numerous spring showers have my garden on over-drive. The daffodils and camellia are almost finished and the tulips were well on their way until our favorite deer ate off the color-just-about-to-pop heads. Luckily, our dwarf Blenheim apricot is in full leaf without a hint of damage and the nasturtium is vigorous.
After yesterday's schizophrenic rain-sun-rain performance, we were left with a beautiful water display, courtesy of the nasturtiums' round, concave leaves. Shimmering marbles of water of all different sizes were captured mid-leaf. The slightest breeze made the marbles dance. Many leaves with many marbles created a through the looking glass effect until the marbles were all knocked off.
I can't wait for the new camera and lens to arrive.Labels: garden, nasturtium
